XenServer 5.5 Update 2 released

February 2, 2010

Just only a a month after Update 1, Citrix released the Update 2 for XenServer 5.5, that resolves few but important issues. This fix address an issue where the system was falsely reporting lost access to the HA metadata disk and another problem when updating from XenServer 5.0.
Update 2 fix also the network problem caused by the previous update 1 for Windows 7 and 2008 VM with IPV6 enabled (these VMs loose network connectivity), as you can read in this my previous post.
Update 2 contains all previous fix (Update 1 has made many improvements, from LVHD Snapshots space reclaiment to XenCenter and Active Directory enhancements), so it can be installed on XenServer 5.5 host with or without Update 1. For all the new installation, you can also download the last ISO image of Xenserver 5.5 with Update2 included.
To download this fix and read more about it, also about the installation instructions, you can read this article.
